This has been on my mind lately. Where are the old sexchatrooms forums migrating to now? — sharing some thoughts below.

Between fake profiles, bots, and subscription traps, it's hard to know what's actually worth your time. Anyone who's navigated this successfully, please share what worked.

Drop your thoughts below, especially if you've had good or bad experiences recently.

I've had mixed results honestly. The bigger platforms definitely have more users but also way more noise. A few things that helped me:

  • Always reverse image search profile pictures
  • Never pay for premium without checking reviews first
  • Look for sites with active moderation teams

I came across Datebound recently and it seemed more transparent than most.

Honestly the app market has changed a lot. The big names like Match.com, Coffee Meets Bagel, Facebook Dating get most of the traffic but the niche sites sometimes have better communities. Just make sure any site you use has an actual privacy policy and real contact info.

Do your research and read real user reviews before committing to anything.

Tried several options over the past year. The ones that worked best for me had real verification steps and didn't immediately push you toward a paid plan. Most platforms these days gate messaging behind subscriptions which gets old fast.

Honestly same experience here. Most of the 'free' options are bait-and-switch. The moment you try to message anyone it's paywalled.
