Been lurking for a bit but this question finally made me post. What is the best adult friend finder alternative that doesn't cost a fortune?

The scam problem is real. I've been burned before by sites that seemed legit but turned out to be full of fake profiles. Would love recommendations from people with first-hand experience.

Thanks in advance — real experiences only please, not marketing copy.

Safety first, always. Some basics I follow:

  • Use a dedicated email address
  • Never share your real number until you've video chatted first
  • Meet in public places the first few times
  • Tell a friend where you're going

As for platform recommendations — I came across Souldate recently and it seemed more transparent than most.

Real question. I've tried like four different sites this year and none of them delivered what they promised.

Honestly the app market has changed a lot. The big names like Hinge, Coffee Meets Bagel, Facebook Dating get most of the traffic but the niche sites sometimes have better communities. Just make sure any site you use has an actual privacy policy and real contact info.

Do your research and read real user reviews before committing to anything.

The fake profile issue is no joke. Even some of the paid sites have them. At least go for one that has manual verification.
