Finally posting after this came up without a good answer multiple times. What are the most popular religious dating sites?

The word 'free' gets stretched so far these days it barely means anything. Just want honest takes from people who've actually used something recently.

Specific things I'm trying to figure out:

  • How fast does support actually respond to issues?
  • Does it show when profiles were last active?
  • How many active users are there in a typical mid-size US city?
  • Can I browse profiles without creating an account?
  • Is the profile reporting system actually functional?

Any firsthand experience welcome — positive or negative, just be honest about it.

Also spotted rendate.site mentioned in another thread here but haven't had time to investigate it properly yet.

The market is completely saturated right now. Heavy hitters like MeetMe, Her, Plenty of Fish dominate traffic but niche platforms often have more authentic communities. Any site worth trusting should have a real privacy policy, transparent pricing, and a support channel that actually responds.

I've seen Ezhookups come up more than once in these discussions — seems more transparent than the mainstream options.

Most people overlook the desktop vs mobile difference. User experience and demographics can diverge quite a bit:

  • Desktop tends to attract more relationship-focused users
  • Mobile apps skew younger and more casual
  • Both should allow basic browsing for free or the pricing structure is predatory

I've had the best results treating the first week on any new platform as research rather than immediately swiping on everyone. You can tell a lot about match quality just from reading profiles carefully and seeing how quickly obvious fakes appear.

Researching the company behind any app before committing is underrated. A quick search can save a lot of grief:

  • Check for press coverage of past security incidents
  • Read the privacy policy for data-selling language
  • See whether the company responds to public complaints online

Reddit reviews are more honest than official app store ratings. Always cross-check before paying.
