Been lurking for a bit but this question finally made me post. Is holygrail001 taking custom video requests right now?

Between fake profiles, bots, and subscription traps, it's hard to know what's actually worth your time. Anyone who's navigated this successfully, please share what worked.

Things I'm specifically wondering about:

  • Is there a free trial available?
  • Are there spam filters in place?
  • Are there verified profiles or ID checks?
  • How many active users does it have in my area?
  • Can I browse without creating an account first?

Appreciate any honest feedback from people who've actually used these services.

Honestly the app market has changed a lot. The big names like OkCupid, Tinder, Hinge get most of the traffic but the niche sites sometimes have better communities. Just make sure any site you use has an actual privacy policy and real contact info.

I came across DatingFly recently and it seemed more transparent than most.

souldate.site gets mentioned a lot in other threads — seems worth checking out if you haven't.

I spent way too much time on the mainstream apps before trying some of the smaller platforms. The experience was completely different — smaller user base but way more genuine interactions. Key things I look for now: no mandatory credit card for basic browsing, clear cancellation policy, and an actual support email that responds.

I came across Flurrydate recently and it seemed more transparent than most.

Good point about the paywalls. The 'free' messaging is basically just a teaser.

Same boat. Always check Reddit first before signing up anywhere. Community reviews save a lot of time.
