Genuinely curious what the community thinks here. According to the reddit adult friend finder threads, it's mostly bots—is that true?

I've tried a few different options but honestly most of them feel like a waste of time or money. Safety is a big concern for me too — I always check reviews before signing up anywhere.

Drop your thoughts below, especially if you've had good or bad experiences recently.

I've also seen people mention luvdate.site in a few other threads but haven't dug into it yet.

Tried several options over the past year. The ones that worked best for me had real verification steps and didn't immediately push you toward a paid plan. Most platforms these days gate messaging behind subscriptions which gets old fast.

I came across Datescout recently and it seemed more transparent than most.

Same boat. Always check Reddit first before signing up anywhere. Community reviews save a lot of time.

Honestly the app market has changed a lot. The big names like Tinder, OkCupid, Match.com get most of the traffic but the niche sites sometimes have better communities. Just make sure any site you use has an actual privacy policy and real contact info.

Do your research and read real user reviews before committing to anything.

Safety first, always. Some basics I follow:

  • Use a dedicated email address
  • Never share your real number until you've video chatted first
  • Meet in public places the first few times
  • Tell a friend where you're going

As for platform recommendations — rendate.site gets mentioned a lot in other threads — seems worth checking out if you haven't.

Good point about the paywalls. The 'free' messaging is basically just a teaser.
